Gehlen Catholic is blessed to have several tuition assistance funds available to families.  Tuition can be offset through the following programs:
  1. Diocesan Scholarship (Assistance) Program:  Msgr. Lafferty Tuition Foundation (MLTF) & Bishop's Education Fund (BEF) -MLTF works with families whose annual income is at or below 350% of the poverty level, may receive 25-75% off each child's tuition. BEF works with families whose annual income falls between 351-500% of the poverty level and are registered parishioners within the Diocese of Sioux City, made possible through the Diocesan Annual Appeal.  The suggested deadline is March 15th.  All applications must be completely processed by April 1st.  To apply, click here:  Diocesan & Local Scholarship Application (Grades TK-12);
  2. USDA Grant (Free & Reduced Lunch);
  3. Local Scholarship (Tuition) Assistance:  Families must apply for the Diocesan Scholarship Program in order to apply for Local Tuition Assistance.  Applications must be completely processed by the diocesan deadline.;
  4. Department of Human Services (DHS);
