President of Gehlen Catholic School Description: Acts as the chief administrator of the school and functions as the coordinator of the administrative team. The President concentrates on the school’s Catholic identity, vision, mission, finances, and development/fund-raising efforts. The President has direct oversight of the business operations, the physical facilities, and the religious and academic components of Gehlen Catholic. This role is the primary spokesperson for the school, promoting positive relations with pastors, parents, staff, other schools, and the civic community.
Number of Hours/schedule: Exempt
Educational & Job Requirements: -Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church. -4-year college degree with Master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated executive experience may be a substitute for education requirements. General knowledge of the education system, an Administrative Education Licensure, or education and experience with leadership and business emphasis preferred. -Catholic school leadership experience strongly preferred. -Above average business acumen including fiscal processes/reports which enhance the ability to handle fiscal responsibilities, strategic planning and strong budget management skill.
Other: The applicant must be a positive Catholic role model for students and staff demonstrating a high level of integrity, relating personal faith knowledge and life experiences in daily professional interactions. He/she is expected to abide by the established policies and procedures of Gehlen Catholic School Board of Education in alignment with those of the Diocese of Sioux City.

Bus Drivers (Immediate Openings!)
We are looking to add to our bus driver fleet. If you are interested in being a bus driver for the AM North Route, PM North Route or evening activities please contact Mr. Bryan Paulson. Requirements include passing a background check (done online), virtus training (done online), a class A or B CDL, Passenger, School Bus and air brakes endorsements, passing of a pre-trip inspection and completion of a 14 hour online course within the first 6 months of hire.
